1. The presence of Aspergillus in the tissues or on a mucous surface of humans and animals, and the symptoms produced thereby.

2. Infection of the lungs and air sacs of birds, especially chickens and turkeys, with Aspergillus fumigatus, frequently introduced in spoiled, moldy feed. Syn: aspergillomycosis.
